I share a house with my Luscious Leu, our friend, The Amazing Shrinking Duncan and our wee hoonds, Baastian and Evie, both of whom are on borrowed time.
People are a constant source of amazement and amusement. People often decide, when they discover they have a terminal disease, to go out and live an amazing life in the few short weeks or months that they have. They accomplish amazing things, and it is truly powerful to witness.

But...

Listen up folks - we are all suffering from a terminal disease - it's called death.

So get off your arse and live everyday as if it is your last, do the things you've always wanted, and don't let anybody tell you it's foolish. It's foolish to live your life "sitting in front of the telly as if life is going to go on forever!" ¹
